## Why teardown images matter most

Any competent refinisher can produce a good after photograph. The question a photograph cannot answer is whether the wall behind it was dry when the finish went on.

The teardown series answers that. It is also the documentation a carrier needs for a supplement, which is why it is produced as a matter of course rather than on request.

### Do photographs help with a supplement?

They are usually what carries it. A line item without a photograph of the condition it addresses gets declined by default, and a measured photograph is what reverses that.
