## The four rates

Body and paint, $210 per hour. Panel work, structural skin, fiberglass, refinishing and everything that happens in the booth.

Mechanical and electrical, $260 per hour. Chassis systems, house electrical, LP, plumbing, appliances, generators and slide mechanisms.

Diagnostics, scan and programming, $285 per hour with a one hour minimum, credited against an authorized repair. Fault tracing, module programming and ADAS work.

Detail, $95 per hour. Correction, polish and preparation work that is not part of a refinish.

## Why diagnostics carries a minimum

A diagnostic hour is not a shortened repair hour. It is a technician, a scan tool, wiring diagrams and the time to eliminate causes in order, and the answer is worth the same whether it takes twenty minutes or the full hour.

Because it is credited against an authorized repair, an owner who proceeds pays nothing extra for having found the fault properly.

## What insurance changes

Carrier negotiated labor rates on insurance billed work can differ from the posted retail rates. That is standard across the industry.

It does not change the scope of work performed or the sequence it is performed in. It changes the rate the carrier is invoiced at.

### Are OCRV Center labor rates negotiable on retail work?

The posted rates are the rates. What is adjustable is scope: an owner paying direct can stage a large job across phases so the spend is spread, and the shop will sequence it so that structural and moisture work still closes out first.

### Why is mechanical labor more per hour than body labor?

Different technicians, different tooling and different liability. House and chassis systems work carries diagnostic depth and certification requirements that panel work does not.

### Does the detail rate apply to paint correction after a refinish?

Correction that is part of delivering a refinish is inside the paint scope. Standalone correction, polish or preparation booked on its own bills at the $95 detail rate.
