Deposits, Payment Terms and the Card Surcharge
Jobs over $2,000 take a 50 percent deposit at authorization. Jobs over $10,000 take a further 25 percent when parts arrive. Final balance is due at pickup and no vehicle leaves the property until it is paid in full. Card payments over $1,000 carry a 3.5 percent surcharge.
Deposits are timing, not extra cost
A 50 percent deposit applies at authorization on any job over $2,000. An additional 25 percent applies when parts arrive on any job over $10,000.
Neither is an additional charge. Both are the same total invoice, collected against the point where the shop commits money on your behalf.
Special order parts are separate and require a 100 percent non refundable deposit at the time of order, because those parts are generally non returnable.
Payment at pickup
Final balance is due at pickup. No vehicle leaves the property until it is paid in full, and that applies uniformly.
On an insurance billed job the carrier portion is invoiced direct. What you settle at pickup is the deductible and any declined line item you elected to have repaired.
The card surcharge over one thousand dollars
Credit card payments over $1,000 carry a 3.5 percent surcharge.
Merchant fees on a five figure repair are real money. Passing the fee to the transaction that creates it is what keeps the posted labor rate from carrying it for everybody, including the owners who pay by check.
Common questions
Can I pay a large balance by card and avoid the surcharge?
The surcharge applies to card payments over $1,000 regardless of how the balance is split. Check and cash carry no surcharge.
What happens to my deposit if I cancel after authorization?
Labor already performed and materials already consumed are billed against it, and the remainder is returned. Special order parts deposits are non refundable because the parts cannot go back.
Is storage charged if I leave the vehicle after completion?
Talk to the shop directly about extended storage. The facility is a working body shop rather than a lot, and bay space that is occupied by a finished vehicle is bay space not repairing the next one.

What this shop does not take
No mobile service. Every job happens at the facility.
No roadside assistance and no on site evaluation.
No engine rebuild and no internal engine machining.
No transmission rebuild and no drivetrain overhaul.
No DOT inspection and no DOT certification.
No emission testing and no emission certification.
No telematics installation and no fleet software.
No fleet consulting and no driver training programs.
Everything above is work OCRV Center declines rather than work it performs poorly. The facility is a body, paint, structural and onboard systems shop, and it is an in shop operation.
Bring it in
Insurance walk ins are welcome. The teardown hour is priced at $210 and credited against an authorized repair, so the evaluation is not a cost you lose if the work proceeds.
