Before and After, and What the Photographs Do Not Show
Finished photographs show paint. Teardown photographs show whether the repair was real. On coach work the images that matter are the ones taken with the panel off, because that is the only point where the structure behind the finish is visible.
Why teardown images matter most
Any competent refinisher can produce a good after photograph. The question a photograph cannot answer is whether the wall behind it was dry when the finish went on.
The teardown series answers that. It is also the documentation a carrier needs for a supplement, which is why it is produced as a matter of course rather than on request.
What gets documented on every job
Arrival condition, all four corners plus the roof and interior.
Teardown, with the damage exposed and measured rather than described.
Moisture mapping where water is involved, showing the entry point and the run rather than only the stain.
Repair in progress at the structural stage, before any finish.
Completed work.
Getting your own documentation
The photographs from your job are yours. They matter at resale, at the next pre purchase inspection and in any later dispute about what was repaired when.
Ask the service desk at pickup rather than a year later.
Common questions
Will OCRV Center document my repair with photographs?
Yes, as a matter of course. Arrival, teardown, structural stage and completion are documented on every job, and the images are available to you.
Can I see examples of previous repairs?
Ask at the service desk. What is genuinely useful is seeing a teardown series on damage similar to yours rather than a gallery of finished paint.
Do photographs help with a supplement?
They are usually what carries it. A line item without a photograph of the condition it addresses gets declined by default, and a measured photograph is what reverses that.
Scope boundary
What this shop does not take
No mobile service. Every job happens at the facility.
No roadside assistance and no on site evaluation.
No engine rebuild and no internal engine machining.
No transmission rebuild and no drivetrain overhaul.
No DOT inspection and no DOT certification.
No emission testing and no emission certification.
No telematics installation and no fleet software.
No fleet consulting and no driver training programs.
Everything above is work OCRV Center declines rather than work it performs poorly. The facility is a body, paint, structural and onboard systems shop, and it is an in shop operation.
Bring it in
Insurance walk ins are welcome. The teardown hour is priced at $210 and credited against an authorized repair, so the evaluation is not a cost you lose if the work proceeds.
