Commercial Truck and Fleet Repair Price Bands
Cab and body repair runs $750 to $12,000, box and cargo body repair $750 to $15,000, reefer liner repair $1,000 to $18,000, and a full refinish and repaint $5,000 to $30,000. Fleet work is scheduled so units cycle rather than sitting together.
Downtime, not the invoice, is the real cost
For a fleet the invoice is rarely the largest number. A unit off the road is lost revenue every day, and that is what scheduling is built around here.
Multi unit work gets sequenced so units cycle through rather than all sitting at once. That is a scheduling commitment rather than a discount.
Reefer bodies and why liners get replaced
A delaminated reefer liner is replaced by the panel rather than patched. Insulation value does not come back once the core is wet, and a patched liner is a body that costs fuel every mile afterward.
Liner repair runs $1,000 to $18,000 depending on how many panels the moisture reached.
Equipment and markings
Lift gate installation $1,500 to $8,500, service body installation $2,500 to $15,000, headache rack $750 to $3,500, emergency lighting $400 to $3,500 and reflective marking $250 to $1,200.
Fleet graphics and wrap runs $1,500 to $8,500 per unit, and a full livery is quoted per unit rather than as a lump so the fleet can stage it.
Common questions
Are these truck and fleet bands discounted for volume?
No. The shop performs body, paint, structural and equipment work on fleet vehicles job by job at the published rates. It does not run fleet consulting, driver training or telematics programs either.
How many fleet units can be in the shop at once?
It depends on the mix of work and the bay space each unit needs. The practical answer comes from scheduling the sequence, which is done up front so a fleet manager knows the cycle before the first unit arrives.
Does the marking price include any regulatory sign off?
No. The band covers applying reflective marking to the specification you supply. It does not include DOT inspection and it does not include DOT certification, both of which happen elsewhere.
Scope boundary
What this shop does not take
No mobile service. Every job happens at the facility.
No roadside assistance and no on site evaluation.
No engine rebuild and no internal engine machining.
No transmission rebuild and no drivetrain overhaul.
No DOT inspection and no DOT certification.
No emission testing and no emission certification.
No telematics installation and no fleet software.
No fleet consulting and no driver training programs.
Everything above is work OCRV Center declines rather than work it performs poorly. The facility is a body, paint, structural and onboard systems shop, and it is an in shop operation.
Bring it in
Insurance walk ins are welcome. The teardown hour is priced at $210 and credited against an authorized repair, so the evaluation is not a cost you lose if the work proceeds.
